Arizona Flyer's Insurance

Members are covered by a $1 million insurance policy while operating club-owned aircraft. 

Arizona Flyer's Club Check Out and Requirements

Before flying each type of Club airplane, an initial checkout by two Club approved instructor is required. In addition, all pilots are required to stay current in accordance with FAA and ARIZONA FLYERS rules.

Checkout with club approved CFI (no minimum time)

Cessna 182
150 hours logged flying time
100 hours logged PIC time
High Performance Endorsement (or grandfathered in)
Checkout with club approved CFI (no minimum time)

Cessna 182RG
250 hours logged flying time
High Performance Endorsement (or grandfathered in)
Complex Endorsement (or grandfathered in)
Checkout with club approved CFI, with minimum time requirements:
If less than 50 hours retract time, 10 hours of checkout flight required;
OR If 50 or more hours retract time, minimum 1 hour of checkout flight required
